Grace Estate Winery

Newly opened on an established vineyard, Grace Estate Winery is a boutique winery that focuses on producing high quality, small batch wines.

Grace Estate is part of the Monticello Wine Trail as well as the Appellation Trail, making it extremely easy for guests to stop at Grace Estate before making their way to tastings at a few of central Virginia’s other award-winning wineries.

Grace Estate is nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in beautiful Crozet, Virginia, making it a wonderful place to stop and enjoy a picnic with the family or a bottle of wine with friends.

Grace Estate currently produces several varietals of high quality wine including, Le Gras Cuve, Cabernet Sauvignon, Le Gras Baril, Chardonnay, Tannat, and Viognier. The winemaker, Jake Busching, combines the farming with the winemaking in the traditional fashion of Europe, standing fast to the belief that all great wine begins with great grapes.

Busching worked at several of Virginia’s premier boutique wineries before moving to Mount Juliet Vineyards and helping to open Grace Estate. In the past, his wines won many awards, including the 2009 Monticello Cup and a Governor’s Case gold in the 2013 VA Governor’s Cup Competition.

Extraordinarily dedicated to the community that has fostered the growth of his winery, Jake Busching is excited that central Virginia is becoming a serious wine region just as Thomas Jefferson dreamed it would.

With 55 acres of top quality vines, Grace Estate is a beautiful place to meander with loved ones as you enjoy a bottle of delicious, rich wine. As a part of the Appellation Trail, a wine route that connects six artisanal wineries in the rolling foothills of the Blue Ridge, it is incredibly convenient to visit Grace Estate before visiting several of the other nearby wineries, which include Glass House Winery, Moss Vineyards, Mountfair Vineyards, Stinson Vineyards, and White Hall Vineyards.

Whether you’re hoping to tour several of the wineries that have helped to establish central Virginia wine as some of the best in the country, or whether you want to linger on one breathtaking vineyard, Grace Estate Winery is the place to visit.
