The wine produced by King Family Vineyards includes Viognier, Roseland, Chardonnay, Crosé, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Meritage, and Petit Verdot. King Family Vineyards’ wine has been recognized within Virginia and increasingly on a national basis as they continue to win awards. The family is dedicated to producing rich wine that demonstrates central Virginia’s terroir.
People of all ages flock to King Family Vineyards from Memorial Day until mid-October to enjoy one of the world’s most exciting sports, polo. With the Roseland Polo Field directly behind the vineyard, Sundays are filled with excitement as visitors sip King Family Vineyard’s rich wine and cheer on their favorite horses. The winery also hosts art shows and days known as “First Wednesday” on which the patio is open for extended hours.
