    The Land and Site:

    The land is exceptionally well-suited to the cultivation of North Carolina’s native grape, providing optimal conditions for the growth, texture, and signature characteristics of the Muscadine varietal. The tract consists of 15.973± acres (per deed) and features RA (Residential Agricultural) zoning. Basically triangular in shape, and relatively level, the property dedicates 10± acres to lush vineyards.     The Vineyard and the Wines:

    The picturesque, meticulously tended vineyard utilizes a high-wire trellis system perfectly tailored to Muscadine grape varietals. Within the 10-acre vineyard, some of the finest Muscadine cultivars are thriving: 4 acres of Magnolia, 4.5 acres of Carlos, and 0.5 acres of Noble, alongside a small section of mixed varietals. The local terroir allows the Muscadine to reach its highest potential, a fact highly evident in the tasting room, where guests enjoy some of the most refined, subtle, and satisfying expressions of the grape available anywhere.

    Cypress Bend Vineyards is renowned for elevating the Muscadine grape to sophisticated new flavor profiles across its 16 table wines. Expertly crafted and impeccably balanced, these wines span the spectrum from dry and semi-dry to semi-sweet and sweet. To cater to all palates, CBV also offers popular vinifera wines—such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec—vinted on-site using premium grapes sourced from other quality vineyards. A new owner could easily expand these vinifera offerings by increasing external sourcing.

    Current vineyard production averages 60 tons from this 10-acre site. An additional 100 to 150+ tons are readily available via a long-term operating lease on an adjacent 25-acre Muscadine vineyard, which is currently utilized in CBV’s production. Annual wine production currently sits at approximately 7,000 cases but could easily be maximized to 10,000 cases utilizing the existing on-site equipment.
