Cooper Vineyards

Cooper Vineyards is a picturesque property located between the historic city of Charlottesville and the quaint town of Louisa. It is nestled into the rolling hills of a traditional farming community and boasts over 100 acres of land. Of that land, 22 acres are dedicated to a vineyard that produces a variety of varietals including Chardonnay, Norton, Vidal Blanc, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Chardonel, Viognier, and Petit Verdot. These 15 acres of mature vines are producing between 4-5 tons per acre, resulting in an annual production of between 5,400 and 6,000 cases of wine. With the additional 7 acres, there is potential for that number of cases to grow significantly.

The tasting room and winery at Cooper Vineyards is a state-of-the-art facility that features a 35-foot long curved custom concrete tasting bar, a fireplace, and a large covered deck with stunning views of the vineyards and a nearby pond. Additionally, there is a tented event pad that is perfect for weddings, as well as a private tasting room and deck for private parties that can accommodate up to 25 guests.

Cooper Vineyards is a charter member of the Heart of Virginia Wine Trail, which is a group of wineries that promote the wines of the region. They also have a loyal customer base and a quarterly wine club that allows members to enjoy exclusive wines and discounts on purchases.
