DESCRIPTION OF THE BUILDINGS
The farmhouse (365 sq m) is built on the top of the hill and houses the apartments dedicated to the reception:

Finally, the warehouse (75 sq m) is located next to the farmhouse and is used both for the conservation of the wines produced and as a room for tasting.
STATE AND FINISHES
The property is located on a hill that housed a medieval tower in the late Middle Ages (around the 11th century), whose barbican and some internal walls were intentionally left visible.
The farmhouse, built using the remains of the medieval building and the heart of the property, is located at the highest point of the hill and is characterized by stone walls on the outside (oblique in the lower part in memory of the medieval building designed to resist sieges) and typical features of the Tuscan countryside inside, including wooden beams and terracotta floors.
The land of the property (7 ha) is divided between vineyards, olive grove and garden. The garden occupies the part immediately surrounding the buildings, while the vineyard is located north of the building. Just the vineyard (2.3 ha) is the heart of the property, guaranteeing the production of an excellent and renowned organic SuperTuscan IGT wine.
Finally, 3 ha of olive grove (about 700 plants) allow to produce a fair amount of oil.
A short distance from the farmhouse there is also the 15 x 6.5 m swimming pool with solarium.

USE AND POTENTIALITY
The property has as its main activity the production of wine, well known and appreciated both in Italy and abroad, but three of the four apartments in the farmhouse are regularly rented. It is possible to change the internal layout of the farmhouse, combining the two apartments on the ground floor to form a single apartment and the two on the first floor obtaining a second apartment accessible directly from the outside via a stone staircase.
