Piney River Naked Creek Farm
A carefully crafted 1880's country home with river frontage and great mountain views on 174 acres of perfect privacy in an exquisite setting.
The original home was built in 1880. When the current owner purchased the property it was in terrible condition. The home has been completely renovated and a contemporary addition was perfectly blended into the context of the original farmhouse.
The Log Home
Handcrafted in the mid-1800’s and built with chestnut, oak and poplar logs, the charming log home has also been meticulously renovated. The cabin has 1 upstairs bedroom as well as a convertible couch in the living room. Additionally one bathroom with shower. The kitchen was updated with the new structure. It has its own septic system and separate electric metered system, but uses water from the house wells. This cabin serves as a wonderful guest home or full-time residence.
The Piney River, not far upstream, is a superior trout fishing stream. Where the river runs along the farm it is broad and deep enough for excellent canoeing, kayaking, and bass fishing. The pure mountain water is crystal clear and welcoming for the outdoor enthusiast.
