Morgan Ridge Railwalk Brewery and Eatery
About Morgan Ridge Railwalk Brewery and Eatery
Superb location, large brewhouse, highly rated craft beers, full kitchen, & spacious interior
Morgan Ridge Railwalk Brewery and Eatery is located at 421 N Lee St, Salisbury, NC, less than an hour from both Charlotte and Winston-Salem. Railwalk Brewery and Eatery(RBE) is a constantly expanding brewery with a loyal customer base, and is rated as one of the top breweries in the Salisbury area. Of course, RBE also benefits from being only a few minutes from I-85 and all the potential customers which routinely utilize the well-traveled I-85 corridor between greater Charlotte and the greater Winston-Salem area.
Salisbury, North Carolina, in Rowan County, is 19 miles N of Concord, NC and only 37 miles NE of Charlotte, NC. Salisbury is the county seat of Rowan County and is also part of the Charlotte – Gastonia – Rock Hill metropolitan statistical area (MSA), which is one of the most dynamic, vibrant, and fastest growing MSAs on the East Coast—and is currently home to a total population of 2,595,027 as of the 2020 U.S. Census. This MSA reflects a population with higher than average education, income, and discretionary spending levels–all of which tend to result in positive support for hospitality based businesses such as that at RBE.
Since its inception in 2016, RBE has specialized in local craft beer, delicious burgers & appealing pub fare that matches well to both craft beer and wine.
RBE has been under new ownership and management since January 2022, and they are proud to say they are now a Craft Malt Certified Brewery! Their grains are locally grown and harvested, and their taproom features 20 different taps pouring true & authentic “local craft beer.” They also serve many Morgan Ridge Wines from their vineyard in Gold Hill, North Carolina. Every Friday and Saturday night (and many Sundays) they host live entertainment, currently with no cover charge. They also offer pet-friendly, outdoor seating, and have games for guests, including corn hole and life size Jenga—all intended to stimulate and enhance the casual enjoyment of great craft brews with friends and family!
This 8,800-square-foot brewery, taproom and restaurant is home to a 15-barrel brewhouse all within a repurposed warehouse setting which has been outfitted to provide just the right feel and ambiance for a true craft beer customer experience.
With a top-of-the-line brewing system with 6 30 barrel fermenters, a 30-barrel brite tank, a hot liquor tank, a cold liquor tank, and a kettle from Quality Tank Solutions and a high-quality canning line, this facility can produce hundreds of barrels of award-winning beer.
The brewery also has a recipe book of year-round and seasonal beers that has a large customer fan base. With pints, cans to-go, growlers, and flights as options for clientele the on-premises and off-premises sales have everything that could be needed.
Morgan Ridge Brewery has a 150-person capacity inside with much more dining space on its patio. With a full-sized kitchen, the restaurant is capable of creating almost any style of menu that could be desired. With two walk-in refrigerators, there is also plenty of room for both the brewhouse storage and food storage. In addition to a regular daily menu, the kitchen is built to handle large crowds, catering, and special party events.
The leased building and site also includes an ample, paved parking area with easy access to the main entrance of RBE.
This offering is for the current, transferable leasehold on the building (currently well below market), the turn-key 15-barrel brewhouse briefly described above (detailed equipment list available), the fully outfitted and functioning large commercial kitchen, and all other associated furnishings, fixtures and equipment currently in place.
With a large, fully operating brewhouse, a full-size restaurant kitchen, huge patron capacity, and an up and running operation—new ownership will truly be able to hit the ground running, as all of the “heavy lifting” has already been done to properly outfit the overall space, and to care for the complex installation, electrical, plumbing, and hook-ups for the brewhouse.
